usually two months old dont sleep through the night...thats what my doctor told me, but eventually my baby did (shes two months old too)
I didnt have a routine during the day cause she fell asleep no matter what i did. But at night i fed her at twelve (enfamil thickened) and an hour later i would swaddle her tightly and play only one song (the moking bird song) over and over but only at bed time. now she sleeps like an angel.

Most people say that babies don't work on a schedule. The truth is... some do, and some don't.
Try keeping her up most of the day but let her have a few naps also. Pick a reasonable bedtime, say like 9pm or 10pm. Make a ritual for bedtime. Like, giving a bath, getting jammies on, get a warm bottle, read a bedtime story, and lay with her until she goes to sleep. When she wakes up, is when she wakes up.
My daughter is will be 3 months old on Halloween and she goes to bed at 10pm every day and wakes up at 7:45am every day. I set this ritual the very first time she slept through the night on her own. Sometimes she wakes up for a bottle around 4am. Not very often though.
Give it some time and your baby will be on her way to snoozing all night long. Good luck to ya!

Expecting a 2 mos old to "sleep fully through the night" is unrealistic. Only babies on TV do that.
Babies are working hard to double their birthweight by 6 mos of age. A 2 mos old still NEEDS to wake to feed throughout the night. You'd be eating around the clock if you had to double your weight too!
You don't put a child this age on a schedule.....you follow her cues to what she needs.
If she sleeps a 5 hour stretch at night, technically, that is considered sleeping through the night already.

Just use what ever schedule works best for you and her. At two months old, most babies don't sleep fully through the night. If you can get her to sleep a 5 hour stretch then your lucky.

It is hard, if not impossible, to get a baby that little on a schedule. At 2 months old, most babies are not sleeping through the night as it is. I think that you need to wait a few more months when she will be more "active and reactive" to her surroundings.
It is my personal opinion that it is very selfish for parents to try to squeeze their babies/kids into THEIR schedules. When you become parents, you have to adapt and react to what they need and try to fit your schedule into theirs. Babies need what they need when they need it and they will let you know what and when.
My schedule is dictated my the needs of my three kids. Things I want to do or "have to" do might get ignored because what they want or needs has to come first.
I hope that you will just let your baby do what she needs to do. As she gets older, there will be nights that she will not sleep through the night for any number or reasons. That is just a fact of parenthood.

Use the schedule that you find most convenient. If you're not working, you may find it easier to sleep or nap when she's sleeping. Don't try to do everything all at once - adapt to what feels best for you.
She will sleep through the night herself in time. She will sleep better if she's happy, secure and her needs are met.

Two month old babies do not sleep all the way through the night. While you try to get her to adjust to you do not abuse her. It will take time.
You better get some expert advice before you start to potty train her next month.
