Do you have evidence? If you don't have, then you shouldn't be accusing him... Perhaps he is innocent and trying to apologise for laughing by helping to wash your chair.
But if you DO have evidence that points at him, that is one sickening joke. Minor jokes are alright, but such jokes are a bit too far. I would have slapped the person and drag him by ear to be disciplined.

at least he made a effort 2 make up what happened
it's an embarrissing moment but they happen and you just gotten get past them
there are only so many small embarrissing things that will happen just let it slide
if it dosn't get brought up anymore the faster others will forget
