that's like a Star Wars fan asking a Star Trek fan if he's gonna dress like Yoda! If people need help on MySpace, why don't they ask on that website instead!?

the same reason people ask for help with gardening, and tips for recipes on here.... because the can. and more importantly, because they know theyll get help. in your example you used star wars and star trek.. why dont people go to gardening supply stores instead, or go to a bookstore and buy a cook book? its the same exact thing. on myspace people are more involved in themselves and im sure tom is more involved in the actual website, but on yahoo answers... people actually get their questions answered.

People ask all sorts of things on YA that a google search or even asking a professional would be just as well or better to do.

You can ask whatever you want on Yahoo, that's why. Why would you ask for homework help when you can ask your teacher etc.
