This is getting out of hand when many sports figures, celebs and politicians usually wind up on probation for similar crimes while everyone else gets the book thrown at them,since when have the rest of the country become second citizens compared to these people?

People with money can afford the best lawyers. The best lawyers have long-standing relationships with the judges, district attorneys, and police. They can usually make a deal to plead out to some lesser charge and avoid jail time.

The public defenders that the poor can get have no such access to power. Thus, their clients suffer.

This is not fair. But it has been this way for centuries, not only here, but in all of human society.

I think it generally comes to one simple fact, they have the money for the best lawyers a person can buy....and they can bribe a court official with a ton of dinero to flag a case off.

On the planet Earth....money talks, b.s. walks.

They think since they are in a "higher" position, They don't have to go to jail or anything ells.

Besides they can pay off anybody they want...
