I am 22.I have had abnormal periods for years. My Doctor put me on a progesterone pill to start my period since it had been over a year since my last one. My period went as useuall with the cramps bloating, breast tenderness etc. My period ended on the 14th. And on the 18th I started getting extremely tender breasts, more than I have ever had. And each day it seems to be getting worse! More tender, and today even a bra seems to hurt! And today they feel and look bigger than normal. But my period ended, and it was fine for a few days, so I don't think it has to do with my period...HELP!

This may not be the answer you were looking for but my breasts were extremely painful within a day of becoming pregnant. Since I am not know the effects of the medication you are on I cannot tell if that could be the cause.

Maybe it is because of the pill and its side effect. They can upset the hormonal secretion from the brain
