Those are the most common letters in use in the English language. But the one most used BY FAR is the letter E. Just go back and count the number of E's in these lines. Now think of how many words have a silent E at the end. Mind-boggling, huh?

I would think the letter "e" is the most common.
I used to think it was "a" but realized you can spell the numbers one through a hundred without an "a"
