Michael maybe starting 10th on the grid and Alonso is looking for Pole. Massa is currently Pole, so hopefully Massa will hold-up Alonso to assist Michael's charge for the lead.
In a head to head between Shuey and Alonso, I'd say Shuey is the coolest, he's got the maturity over Alonso and more importantly the experience. Nice to think Alonso's engine will blow-up at some point in the race. Leaving Michael for an easy victory to round-off his illustrious F1 Career.

I don't think so. He has already conseeded the title to Alonso. Every year drivers change teams, so in a few years Ferrari will want Alonso in their team. It is important to them to make sure he joins with the right attitude. Sure, Ferrari want Alonso to fail to complete, but they would want it to be a Renault / Alonso failure, not a Ferrari / Schumacher controversy.
As we saw in Shanghai, Renault cracked under pressure and, but for the engine failure in Japan, gave the title to Michael. This isn't the first race they have cracked under pressure either, and this is why Ferrari win / get podium finishes at the moment, they don't crack under pressure like a lot of the other teams.
I haven't been able to follow the races closely for most of this year, but from what I've read it is far more likely for Renault to put on the wrong tyres or put the wrong downforce on the car or put on some doohickey which is illegal than for Schumaker to take out Alonso.

No, Massa will take Alonso out and Schumi will go on and win the race and the championship.

It didn't happen, and even if it could have been arranged how was he going to guarantee that he would win the race?
As it happened it turned out to be one of the best races of the season and while congratulating Damon Hill, it would have been fitting for Schumi to have finished his career with at least a podium.
He certainly worked hard for his fourth place.

dont think schumi will have him taken out. he may have done in the past but at this stage in the game he is as r. kelly said about mohammod ali " the worlds greatest " . who from now to the end of time is going to beat the 7 times world champ. so realistically speaking is it ever going to happen???

even if alonso picks up the title tomorrow the lime light is going to be on michael, its not every day the number 1 of the coolest sport bows out gracefully now is it?

WHHAAATTT!!????? Did I just read that Raikkonen gonna take Schumi's Ferrari next year???!!!!!! There is no way in the hell that gonna happen!!!!!!!!! I'd be soooo mad!!!!!!

Anyway, back to the question. I really hoped Michael would win another title this year, but that Spaniard, gosh he was fast! I just found out that Michael has retired from the sport. I'm crushed really. Formula 1 is not Formula 1 without him. I'm going to really miss him.

I was actually thinking about this this week and if it's gonna happen, I don't think he would do it, maybe Massa (I remember him saying in an interview that he would do whatever it took for Schumacher to win the championship), or Raikonnen (he's taking Schumacher's place, and I don't think he would have had a car for next year if Schumacher didn't retire this year, so he could do it too). I think it would be very sad if his final race and final championship came to this, I don't like him, I've never liked him but he will do anything to win, and in his last year and race, he would probably give one of his kids to win the championship. I hope we have a clean race but no one really knows what's gonna happen.

Alonso needs only 1point to win this season, he is a good driver he can do that. Even if he qualify last he can get to ninth place and get himself a point. He can easily take over Schumacher. There is no way Suchmacher can win, here luck plays a major roll for him i.e. if Alonso retires.
