Since you ask this in the basketball ctageory, I guess you hope for the same but I LOVE hockey. Obviously it's the law in Canada that we have to but it's fast, hard hitting, loads of shots and goals plus the gear looks cool. So the law aside, I love it.
I dig basketball, too, but #1 for me is hockey esp. the first rd. of the NHL playoffs and anytime Canada play at the Olys or World Cup in a Final.

Baseball. Why? Glad you asked!
Too many people, it could come off slow as times, but recently after watching game 7 of the St Louis/Mets game, you can sense/feel/almost taste the intensity and nerves of every pitch throughout the ballgame. In ways, the 3+ hrs of a typical ballgame flew by in this one. There are just too many unknowns in baseball, and it goes to show you that money can't buy everything (and I speak from being a Yankees fan!) Plus baseball has come down, every year, to the wire on who will make the playoffs and get that elusive wild card spot. It never gets old in baseball and the passion and memories are all there being created in front of our eyes everyday. Its fun, challenging, and one hell of a sport!

I love swimming. Sure, it may be an unrecognized sport. But it's my absolute favorite. Second favorite is baseball. I don't know why. I think it's because my dad got me hooked when I was real little. Then comes Volleyball. I love how you have to move around the court to try to get the ball over. The exhiliration is great. Then comes tennis. Pretty much same reasons. But I LOVE it when I slice the ball.

Soccer, the real football. Not only does it have the richest history and the widest fan base in the world, but it is a beautiful game. In what other sport can a man who is 5'5" play with a man who is 6'7". What other sport has THE World Cup. What other sport can be called the beautiful game?

my favourite sport is basketball
its got so much intensity, you need to be strong quick and smart to play the sport. There's nothing better than playoff basketball, the only problem is that im a raptors fan haha. The dunks are better than most streetball dunks, so much more powerful. You can play it to get warm or to go full out. basketball is the best sport ever created....also, it was created by a canadian

Basketball because every position can be an all star. While in football offensive lineman/kickers/punters and baseball relief pictures (except closers) cannot be a star. A center (Shaq), power forward (Karl Malone), Small Forward (Larry Bird), Shooting Guard (Michael Jordan), and Point Guard (Steve Nash) each won many MVP's.

Drag racing...the raw power (8000 horsepower) of a Top Fuel dragster is mind numbing. To witness a car go from 0 to 335 mph in less than 4.5 seconds is an experience you will never forget...the sight, the sound, the smell, the POWER!!!

my favorite sport is baseball,because my 13 yr old son has been playing since he was 8 yrs olds and I learned the game and fell in love with it from watching his games.
