In August I purchased a Frigadaire dryer. The one in the store was white but the store shipped me one with a stainless steel top. Does the dryer kit come with the dryer or is it an accessory and thus additional cost? I live in a rural'pioneer' community that depends on a mailboat and returning it is not an option. I faxed the company and got no reply. I would like to know because the kit is needed to let out the hot air and it should not be additional. The store did not tell me the kit was additional when I purchased it. I bought desks from them and one desk had no instruction booklet. The chair for the desk had a hole in the seat. Frigidaire dryer owners please answer. Others can comment too.

Most dryers do not come with the vent hose, nor the plug. Everyone's situation is different, so you buy your own dryer plug and your own dryer vent. It is simply a hose with a clamp on each end. You can buy one at any Big Box Home Improvement Store or Wal-mart for around $10.
