me and my friends used to watch hairspray before we went out on friday nights!
we all were different characters but in the end we just call everyone enda

Yes, it's got Ricki Lake in it. It's good.
Now they are re-making it, with John Travolta playing a woman---the character he's playing was played by a man on Broadway AND in the other movie.

love that movie..would liked to have seen the stage version too. if you like that film then checkout cry baby staring jonny depp. same director (jon walters) some of same cast...brilliant !

I saw that movie. It has Ricki Lake in it before she lost a ton of weight. I thought the majority of it was stupid, but there were a few descent parts. It is about a fat girl trying to get on a dance show and her black friends trying to get in their too.

seen it, its agreat movie, one of those films that everyone will love for years to come, abit like grease in that way!! tried to download it myself a couple of weeks ago, but couldnt. ya gotta watch it, u'll love it!!
