You should still go ahead with your party & enlist the help of your family or friends to help out with things so you don't get too worn out. Make sure you have a place where you can sit and elevate your foot. Your friends will understand & they'll want to be there for you. Although you can't play on the team, you can still be there to cheer them on and offer moral support. Don't let the broken foot take you away from the things you love. You can still be involved even though you are not actively playing.

Cool your birthday is on halloween ;-). About your broken foot: Until your birthday it will be better and probably you will be able to walk on it. You dress up as a witch fallen off her broom, as a mummy (Your leg is already mummified ;-)) or just hide it in the long dress of a princess. You can also paint yor cast black or red and use a boot of the same color on the other leg.
Also buy some markers and make all sign your cast.
Happy Birthday

You should do what your orthopedist told you to do. If you do not you are crazy. Then again, some people get around well with artificial feet. Learn new strengths of character.
