I had four babies and not ONCE went into labor. You may be one of those that has to be induced..but it's not scary or harmful, it's a very safe, easy and fast process, you don't feel a thing..well you feel a touch of pressure, but that's it. As long as you are feeling your baby move, nothing is wrong with him/her. You still have a little time, it may come. Congrats to you, and God Bless. Good luck.

My first baby was a week and a half late and was about to be scheduled for induction, but the doctor performed a rough exam and scraped away the mucus membranes and I went into labor about 10 hours later. My second was week late and was induced woth Pitocin. I had never felt anything! Don't worry! As long as you are seeing your OB regularly then there is nothing to worry about. Besides, the due date is only an estimation...not a deadline. GOOD LUCK! :)

I had my son 3 weeks ago today (he was four days early and my first) I never had any contraction or anything until I woke up in a wet bed after my water broke. I then had my first contraction at 8 min. intervals he was born 7 hours later. So it doesn't mean anything is wrong but you can always check with your doctor to reassure yourself.

don't worry, as long as u feel the baby moving every hour u r fine, trust me, u're lucky to not have felt any contractions yet!- when they come they come for real! so be patient, stay calm and let nature run its course, the baby will determine when he or she is ready. don't forget all pregnancies are different. so take this little bit of time u have left to get all the sleep u can, cause u won't get much of it when the baby is born, trust me- Good luck and God Bless.

I don't believe that you have a thing to worry about...You will definitely know when you are in labour, but if you are still unsure of yourself, ask your doctor...so enjoy these last few days that you have before those 3 AM wake up calls, because before you know it you'll be wondering why you ever asked!!!

you dont have to get braxton hicks contractions at all in pregnancy, and thats what you would be getting if your not yet in labor, that has nothing to do with the health of the baby and nothing to worry about
