Yes the KKK is legal (before asking questions, you should do a little research). They have the right to form assembly, write books, just like any other organizations. The hoods go back to when they first started, it was so each member would not know who the other member was if ever brought to trial against crime(s). And yes there are bumper stickers supporting the KKK, if you are searching, google it.

It is legal because people have the right to form groups or clubs...KKK is a group of people who get together & hate on the black people,as inhumane and mean spirited as it sounds as long as they r not having hangings and stuff of that sort then who cares, they usually stay hidden like u said & out of the way so they r not hurting any one.I live in Texas and about 12 years ago i remember them having a KKK ralley around the town square, believe it or not there was no trouble between any one they had their ralley & left...that was that!....i am not saying its right for them to hate for no reason but if they want to have a "club" that brings them together then that is their right to do so....that being said i can't stand anyone black white or brown who hates someone else based on the color of their skin there r bad & evil peolpe in every race!

Well it is also legal to belong to a gang (as long as you don't break any existing laws) yet you don't see gang members using THEIR real names very often when they tag public or private property do you? THEY always sign their tagging with "Chaco" or "Snowy" or "Bumble" etc... Nor do you see them drive around town with cars that have bumper stickers that say, "Proud member of the East 59th Street Gang."
Shame perhaps?

The hoods are so you don't find out they're your repuklican congressman. My guess is, they're fathers are also standing in the photo wearing their own hood.
You know what they say, apples don't fall far from the tree. That's the trouble with politics. Most people involved with a certain party (Rep. ) is because of their parents. God forbid, they would use their own brain and do what's right for all Americans. All they care about is not loosing their inheritance.

Because they are actually ashamed of what they do and are scared ignorant individuals who don't really want anyone to know who they are.......I think anyone who is supposed to believe so strongly in something should be man/woman enough to expose themselves. They are a waste of human skin. Sorry if that offended anyone, I don't mean to, unless your a member of the KKK.

Maybe because most members of the KKK are afraid of receiving a major smack-down.
