I need to make some magnet boards and places like Home Depot and Lowe's only have HUGE sheets, I need 2' square or around that size of sheets, thin metal magnetic sheets.

Usually the large home improvement stores are willing to cut the sheet to the size you need and charge you by the square foot for what you buy. Of course they charge for cutting too. Then they toss the remainder of the sheet in a "cut-offs" bin with a reasonable price tag on it for the next person who only needs a small piece. Call around to a few stores in your area -- I'm sure you'll find at least a couple that are willing to do that for you. Good luck.

I don't know if this will work for you but you can go to a sign shop and get the magnetic material they use to make magnetic door signs for cars. The same material that refrigerator magnets are made of.

Home Depot and Lowes sometimes have scrap pieces that are smaller. Next time you're there, ask. Otherwise you can buy the large shet and have it cut down. What you you using it for?
