mk. so im writing a persuasive essay, and i've worked 2 wks on it. for someone to break into my car and steal my WHOLE school bag, and yea all my work was in there. so here it goes..

I have to have 8 Rhetorical Devices. (which i had in my bag)
right now i have 4 almost 5 (one in progress).
My essay is a Persuasive essay. and my topic is "teachers should not give homework on weekends".
I already have:: analogy, Appeal to authority, concede the opposition, Rhetorical Question, and Repitition..(if you have an idea about these even though i have them feel free to write it down, it may be better than what i already have).
Some other devices i do not have are::
*Aliteration
*Appeal to Emotion
*Euphemism
*Hyperbole
*Irony
*metaphor
*parallelism

The devices have to relate to my topic. if anybody could help it would be great. seeing as my essay was due today and i have an extension on it due to the fact that my stuff is all gone. and im starting from scratch.THANK YOU VERY MUCH

For those of you who leave me a comment, i do not know how to reply..:/.
But, I am not trying to scam people into doing my homework. I know it sounds like a "unreal" situation. Trust me, i think it is odd myself that someone just took my school bag of all things..:/..I did save what i had written on my USB, which happened to be in my bag. but the MAJORITY of my work was handwritten in class. and that cannot be restored..thank you to those who do leave me comments, even though you may not beleive me. But trust me, i GREATLY appreciate you taking the time to still do it..

I actually dont understand your question very well. but i know what some of the figures of speech above mean: Aliteration- is a repitition of words. Euphemism- is when you want to say a negative thing, but as not to make the person hearing it feel bad, you say it in a positive way e.g. The landlord has passed away, "meaning dead"
Hyperbole-meaning something that is impossible that doesn't sound real e.g the whole world came to my party. Metaphor- to liken a thing or someone to a non living thing. similar to a simile, but without as or like e.g. she is a deer on the track Irony- this is saying something that you mean but in the opposite e.g. He is very brilliant, he took the 28th position out of 28 students. I hope you'll understand it my little way.

Teachers Torture Their Tots with Tons of Time on homework---alliteration

Isn't it ironic that teachers don't always teach?

BTW.---I dont buy the fact that someone stole your assignment...save it to the computer
