so famous for on a stage in the US rather than London? Are they truly cowards & just looking for some cheap PR? And havent' they ultimately shot themselves in the foot because now most country stations do not play them, not as many album sales so they have to turn to making a documentary to make some more cash??

The same goes for the Hollywood nuts. The box office take has been down significantly over the last couple of years - due in no small part to the outrageous leftist activism practiced by many actors.

The Dixie Chicks, Barbara Streisand, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, etc., etc... would be wise to keep their stupid mouths shut and practice their craft without offending a majority of the people that patronize their work.

Any entertainment group takes a risk when making a stand on a political issue - but the Dixie Chicks could have taken the high road and provided some constructive alternatives. One should follow the example led by Bono and friends of U2. I'm sure he has strong feelings about issues involving Bush and the war, but instead of whining and complaining, he works hard to make the world a better place. For the record, I'm a Bush supporter, but not for the reasons people think. I wouldn't want to be president in these times (how many would?), and George W needs some credit for dealing with all that's been going on, considering he probably thought he would skate through some easy years in the white house before 911 struck. Yes, be may be a spoiled rich kid, but he's working very hard now, like him or not.

I'm sorry I really don't understand your question... didn't they make the statement and that's why people burned their Cd's and radio stations stopped playing them, and their album sales are almost obsolete... it was a big thing when they made their statements and that was back when the majority of Americans agreed with the war in Iraq.

Of course you don't care about celebrities. It's obvious from your question!

So, somebody told you they said something in England that you should be offended by. So what? You think the English don't know what a jerk Bush is?

You might want to do some fact checking. Their concerts are routinely sold out and their albums are always in the top of the charts.

They've also made similar statements to U.S. audiences.

Some of the post suggest the American people are against Bush... Let's be honest; the dems hate Bush and have since the day after the first election. They just don't care to lose their power, and have used every device they could think, of to try to sink him. Has nothing to do with Iraq.. that is just the most convenient tool of the moment.

Im not much of a country western music fan but I know since that Natalie cow open her yapper that Id never listen to the garbage they put out.

I dont think its a PR stunt I think its an actual ignorant opinion that she holds. If it was a PR stunt, it could be noted as the worst ever.

Its one thing to hold opposing views to or administration. Hey, we're all entitled to our own opinions. But to vocalize such sentiment in a time of war on foreign soil is traitorous.

They might have gotten a little crazy but they are not the only ones who feel that way about Bush.
Have you realized that no president has ever had so much opposition from celebrities, or from the American people is a whole, as Bush has?
