A friend of mine once told me, that her and her mother moved into a haunted house. The woman that lived there before them died in the house apparently, and she had a peg leg.
Apparently this woman favorite part of the house was in the kitchen, as she spent most of her time there.
One day, my friend says her mom left her home alone, she was just nine year old, to run to store to go get some more icing for the cake she was making.
She told my friend to make SURE she turned the oven OFF in 10 mins, my friend was so engrossed in the TV that she totally forgot, until the heard this "thumping sound," like a "Thud, Thud, Thud," coming from the kitchen. She went running down the hall in the kitchen, and saw from a distance her mother reaching over the stove, opening the door, and dragging the her leg as she closed the door to take out the cake.
Just then, she heard her front door slam and looked back to see her mother coming in through the front door.
Confused, she quickly turned back to the kitchen to see, the woman who was posing as her mother (ghost of the house) gone. Her mother grateful that she turned off the stove, but annoyed that her daughter is standing there dumbfounded, said:
"Well just don't stand there, help me with these bags.'
Since then, she never went back into the kitchen by herself.

Well this scared the crap out of me. Specially because I witnessed it.
I went to visit some family member in Mexico and theres alot of scary stuff over there. They told me that this lady's kids died along time ago and every night she comes out in her white dress mourning for her kids screaming 'mis hijos, mis hijos'
I was like "sure whatever."
But when I was sleeping in the guestroom by myself I heard her and I almost had a heart attack. I'm sure it was demons trying to play with me but I ran and screamied to my aunts room. And they just laughed.
Oh, and theres this post in Mexico, this lampost that if you pass by it at night you will see a little girl in a white dress.
Creepy, huh?
