I moved to an apartment in a new area and along the edge of the bathtub closest to the wall is rust. My cousin gave me flatware and some of them ended up rusty after being left in water. My niece bought another flatware set and baking pans. We soaked the pans to loosen the stuff that stuck to the pan after baking and the result was rust. What causes rust and how is it removed from utensils etc.easily? I live in a pioneer rural community with no big department stores/malls and gas at $5.00 a gallon so I need basic home remedies.
