Service. Do things for others, make a difference in your community. (Oh, and a nice smile from an attractive person of the opposite sex tends to be a good booster, too!)

A good run, some kickboxing.
Younger good looking ladies that smile at me.
Doing a good job at whatver the task it.
Being appreciated by others.

Personally...a BJ would do wonders for my self esteem right now!

Learn to ballroom dance. Seriously. It sounds stupid, but anyone can learn (no dance experience needed, two left feet welcome). It's a unique skill, it's fun, and it's a fantastic way to improve your social skills-- you get to talk to a lot of people when you dance. I've taken ballroom for two years, and it's brought out a lot of confidence.
