Can someone please find the amplitude, period, and the phase shift for this equation?

y = sin (x + pi/4)

I need this in the next couple of minutes. I deeply appreciate the help.

A sinusoid takes the form:

A*sin( 2*pi*(1/T)*x + theta )

where:

A: amplitude
T: period
theta: phase shift

In your case:

A = 1
T = 2*pi
theta = pi/4 = 45 degrees

Note that the frequency of the sinusoid is 1/(2*pi), which is simply 1/T.
