the name on the back is "Hamilton Fine Bone Chine" but can not fine any thing about them

its not that i even wonted them just could not get out of having the set
it has a gold patton of flowers and leavs and im told its realy OLD has anyone ever heard of Hamilton fine bone china ??

One way to find the value is to contact an antique dealer in your area. Normally they can tell you about your item what time they are from and an approximate value. Have you looked on Ebay? Somethimes you can enter the name of the product and see if there is anything like it on there.

I can't help with the value, an auctioneer/valuer might be your best bet there. Hamilton China was around in the 1960's, maybe later, it was one of the brands sold in a shop in which I worked at that time.

If you got given them, the chances are they won't be worth much if anything at all. People wouldn't give anything away if it was valuable.
