Does anybody know what sites, if any, that could show me the right way to do this craft [tatting] or any infomation out there please.
No stupid answers please as I'm getting old and can't afford the time or effort to read them.
Thank you in advance.

Look for a little book by Bessie M. Attenborough entitled "The Craft of Tatting" ISBN 0 7135 1704 2. She shows you exactly how to do it. Bessie was a great friend of mine and a brilliant "tatter". Her book was known as the bible of tatting. Hope you can find it! Maybe Amazon?
If you just enter "Tatting" into "Search" on your computer you'll be amazed how much info there is out there!

where were from, tatting is slang for diving in skips to see what you can find... or rooting around scrap yards and landfill sites junk hunting...

i found an old map of london, christies just valued it at 1000 pounds..some people dont know what they throw away... which is why my dad did it, i do it, and so wil my kids when they get older... some folks call it tatting, we call it recycling... and lining our pockets.
