i love that movie too.. she is the most LOVE-TO-HATE HER heroine ... i mean, how can u not at least respect her strength, and need to keep Tara together because of her loyalty? she lost her father, her daughter.....yes she was horrible to her sisters and used people, but she did what she had to do. I personally wouldn't have acted that way, but then again i probably would never have a Clue how to get tara back.... so it's just an amazing character study...... she worked just as hard as anyone else to get things for the family, even if she treated them badly in their eyes, they still had a place to stay and food on the table.

i wish scarlett had changed Before rhett left, but he had had enough, and i don't blame him. i think of him as Always loving scarlett, however, and never finding ANYONE to take her place. as for her, the only thing she can do is improve, because that is in her character: to always strive hard for the "best"..eventually Anyone who does that and makes mistakes in their life actually has the Richest history, past, and knowledge and Strength enough to change.

My all time FAV FAV movie!!!! In the beginning I thought she was a spoiled little brat who thought everyone should jump when she whined. But after all hell broke loose and she had to actually work for a change, she got it through her head that the world didn't revolve around her. But then she went back to acting like a spoiled brat after they daughter died. It's a toss up if Rhett should have left her or not. In a way she really needed him and realized it a little to late. But on the other hand she treated him like total crap and how was he to know that she was going to get her head out of her butt? Total toss up but still my total FAV!!!

She is one of the strongest female characters to have ever been written and played on film. She is often unlikeable but you have to respect her. One of my all time favorite moments on film is the end of the first half of the movie when she vows never to be hungry again. A promise she fullfills in the second half of the film.
I always believed that one day she and Rhett would reunite.

I love the character. A spoiled little daddy's girl who has to find out the hard way what life is really about.

I felt sorry for her when Rhett left, but she got what she deserved.

spoiled brat, big bi-ch..............If I were Rhett, I would have told her where to go long before he did.............but then the movie wouldn't have been as big a hit as it was.
