Nope, I only hate him, never listened to his broadcast. I've heard enough on Air America Radio to cement my opinion of the pot head.

When Bill Clinton took office I couldn't stand Rush. And I've never heard him for an entire broadcast. But as I get older, his tirades effect me less. However, I've decided not to let opinion leaders be my primary source of information. They get a little too emotional and lose credibility. I see this on BOTH sides of the political spectrum. After watching Nancy Grace, for example (part of that new trailer trash lawyers movement) I don't think he's too bad. Nancy makes me to root for the bad guys - enough of that facial expression put-down already! Sorry, I can't help it. I know a lot of people lover her.

I have. I don't care for the word hate, I would use disgust.
Not because he is on the far right but because he takes something out of context and then goes on and on about his search for the truth. It's not just him by the way it's anyone who would act like they are a paragon of the truth when the whole method of presenting things is to give the listener only 1% of the information so they will agree with what ever point he's making.

I have... it's hilarious... but so is Michael Moore... it's the same trick, just used on the other side... if you can see one is a sham, you should be able to see the other is...

here's the game they both play... take a little bit of the truth, so that people think you know what you're talking about, then twist the h*ll out of it to the point where it sounds like the other side is completely crazy and demented...

if you talk to a fan of either, the majority of the time they have completely distorted views of the opposite party that border on "they are all demons that want to destroy America"... which is silly to think of either party...

I have in fact listened to several Rush Limabaugh broadcasts in their entirety, as I have an aunt who is inexplicably a fan. I have also read two of his books, which were given to me as gifts by that same aunt. The fact is, is Rush Limabugh is a hypocrite. He totally gets on people for being 'drug addicts', saying they are scum, but he himself is addicted to painkillers which are just heroin for people who can afford to go to a doctor. How he can still get onteh radion and say the things he says is beyond me, What I find more astonishing is that peopel stilllisten to him and believe he has any credibility. Rush Limbaugh is ignorant, a liar and a hypocrite. He only appeals to white people who are bitter because they can't get ahead in life.

Used to listen to him but not anymore. He's too one sided. I got mad during the Gore Bush election. Rush kepy calling Gore a crybaby and why doesn't he just admit defeat. Gore was only asking that a recount of the votes be made.

It is quite interesting to note, those who hate him have never listened to him. Air America has gone chapter 11 mainly because no one listens to them more than once.. They are not entertaining unless you need confirmation for Bush hate.

I love Rush. So what, Rush is human. Millions of Americans become addicted to prescription painkillers, so cut him a little slack. He admitted the problem and sought help for it. Good for him. As for the idiot above who gets all his info from "Air America", enjoy it while you can. They can't pay their bills and will soon be out of business. What amused me about Air America is that they chose the bottom of the barrel for their on air "talent". Al Franken. What a complete waste of time. He has no clue what he's talking about, has no idea if the concept of fact checking and will repeat any idiotic thing that he's heard at one of his liberal cocktail parties. Garafalo is just as bad. There are liberal commentators out there that I will listen to... but Air America's talent, if that's what you want to call it is non-existent. Rush researches his guests. He researches his topics. You may not agree with him but at least he's professional.
