If your child support is in arrearage, sorry, but theres nothing you can do. The child support collection agency will attach to anything it can to satisfy your account including your tax return and can legally do so until the account is current.

Pay your child support when it's due instead of the government having to step in and make sure your kid gets what they should have already gotten! Problem solved.

Pay your child support up to date. They take your taxes for missed payments. so if you don't have any then they won't take them.

Pay your back child support. Otherwise, you can't stop them. Unless you don't file, but then you'll have the IRS on your butt.

Don't file. (just kidding) If you owe back child support then you can't unless you pay it in full before you file.

You CAN'T. They are will take it and then attach your home - bank accounts - take your drivers lic. (Hunting Lic in some states) and put liens on property!
You should have been paying your CS....if you lost your job, then you should have filed a motion to get your CS reduced.
