Social influence begins at birth since we interact with the people around us. We experience the moods of others, approval and disapproval and from there learn the rules that govern the society that we are born into.

Social influence has changed as societies have blended. Instead of being influenced by the beliefs of a local tribe, we are now influenced by the whole world.

It begins at birth. The world influences everything. Consciously and unconsciously. People who are extraverts are more prone to being swayed to conform the ways of the world. Intraverts are able to think intelligently for themselves and do not generally care what others think. They are driven by their own choices. They are generally ethical, intelligent and have strong moral standards to live by. Extraverts are generally insecure, have a need to please others, to fit in with others, to be accepted. They generally do not have a strong moral belief, they fall for anything because they have not established what they believe in. They are the ones who get involved in drinking, drugs, sex etc. Teens generally get pressured the most because they are at a growth and development stage of the friends and socal life being the most important to them. If they are extraverted and a teen they are at a very high risk for the dangerous influences of society.

it right from birth. I have a buddy whom at 28 has been reduced to such abject condition of servitude by his mothers assertiveness. He can no longer open his mouth without alluding to "my mother" or using my mother as a org whereon to hang all his opinions and emotions and those of others too.
