Just wondering if I could get some thoughts from anyone who is bi-racial, preferably black/white mixed.

Do you have any special problems/issues you have had to overcome because of this? Are you embraced by both races? Do you feel more black or white? Please, serious answers only!

No, but I'm Puertorican, and my wife is African-American. We have 2 boys, ages 16, and 13. Our oldest is bright, or hi-yella' in skin color, green-eyed, keeps his hair in a fade with waves. He has been told by other "ig'nant African-Americans" that he's not "black" enough. It's a source of worry for my wife, and I, because since we live in the South (where there is still alot of hidden racial discrimination), he'll have hard time being accepted. Our youngest looks Hispanic, which presents a whole 'nother problem. The influx of "illegals" makes my son of target of so-called "Minuteman" wanna-be's. Also, unlike his brother, he doesn't look Black at all.

My wife, and I try to teach ours sons that the world, unlike us, sometimes will not accept you, because of us. We teach to judge people, regardless of their skin color, on their own merits. We hope that they teach the same to their children one day...

P.S. I answered a previous question you asked about what to do with pedophiles, and because I answered it in Spanish, which was a violation (unbeknown to me), sorry, it was removed. The interpretation of my answer was, "Yes, I completely concur with you"...

properly, for my area, i think of bi racial human beings have the main captivating eyes, and pores and skin coloration. My family contributors is Italian, and my sister, whilst she became youthful could tan so darkish, human beings constantly asked her if she black. i'm in college and my English professor truthfully suggested that in the process approximately 2 many years, the white race would be the minority, and bi-racial race would be what the white race was once. i understand you cant exchange who you're, yet, be proud, its purely because of the fact the different everybody isn't something yet ignorant fools. keep in mind, you have been made the style you're for a reason, your looks, pores and skin coloration, character, each and every thing. So be pleased with who're, and the place you come back from, because of the fact a type of days, you would be the single reigning.
