Lets say a kevlar vest has been tested and is guaranteed to not be penetrated by a 9MM at a certain distance. Would you let someone at that distance shoot you in the chest just to see what it was like?

To be honest, I probably would let someone shoot me in the chest just to see what it felt like. But knowing my luck, the damn vest wouldn't work and I'd die. (sigh). lol

No, I would just IMAGINE that even though you shouldn't die, it would still really, really hurt. I knew a young policeman who was shot in the chest while wearing his police issued bullet proof vest. He died.

Did you know that you can still bust your ribs open even if the bullet doesn't enter your body?
I think you'd have to have a screw loose to consider doing this.
