Your right, it DOES seem that common sense is no longer common. It just goes to show how much of a stronghold Satan has on this world. God created all people with "common sense" or a conscience in order to convict them of sin. People today seem to be self-righteous in respect to their behavior. This produces a flawed sense of self. Which is deadly.

It's true. If it was so common, people wouldn't do the stupidest things. I blame modern medicine really. Darwin's theory of evolution and survival of the fittest say the strong (smart) species should flourish. And here we are at an age when humans try to make everyone live as long as possible and cure all defects, so now we have a bunch of idiots reproducing and passing on the lack of common sense that should have been eliminated generations ago if modern medicine had not come in to play.

Yes. Common sense is based upon what one person believes is common knowledge among everyone.
Different upbringing, culture, nationality, and religion all have vastly different social laws. Common sense has become a popular meaning.
And yes, I wish sense was indeed common : )

Correct. The problem is that we are too diverse to have anything in common other than the nation in which we live. With the subsequent diversity of values, what's important to you may not be important to me and therefore my actions may be silly to you and life affirming to me.

Maybe I'm just now starting to realize that society was always this way, but it seems like today's people are pathetically susceptible to becoming lemmings that simply follow leaders.
