Nothing fancy. I'm just wondering if anybody has tried his or her hand at remixing (other people's songs) for fun.

Me? I've dabbled with INXS' What You Need and a Dannii Minogue vs. Dead Or Alive montage of I Begin To Spin Me Round.

I hope to hear about your stuff too.

Pray tell, what is a mash-up? I don't hear that phrase in my country. Is it a montage?

i think its wicked especially if you hear the potential in a badly produced tune and make it sound twice as good!!!

Hey,

I've dabbled by asking friends for the samples of their songs so i can remix/reproduce them. I like making bootlegs too. Recently made "I can't come back atchya" - a mash up between Hall and Oats "I can't go for that and Freq Nasty's "Boomin Back Atchya!

mash-up is the same as bootleg, eg: taking 2 or more songs and merging them to make a new one.
