Tow capacity should be rated in your owners manual for your vehicle. Typical tow ratings are based more on the ability for the car to brake and slow everything safely as well as the transmission's rating more so than how many drive wheels there are.
You should determine the weight of the boat and trailer to determine if the vehicle can tow the boat safely.

I wouldn't do it for any length of trip. If it's just pulling it around the block, maybe but I don't think so. I don't care if you have the towing package, the weight of the boat compared to the weight of the tow vehicle is way too different. If you're pulling down the highway and boat/trailer gets a little squirrelly, the tow vehicle wouldn't have enough weight to control it. For pulling a 21' boat made of any material, you're looking at some serious weight. I personally wouldn't attempt it with less than a 3/4 ton full size pickup or SUV.

depends on the boat. check the tow rating for the Chevy. then bring our boat to a public scale to determine the weight. The boat's weight should not be over or close to the limit. 2wd is better for towing on flat ground, but having 4wd on the ramps is a real help. also check the transmission cooler, radiator to make sure they are adequate.

Depends on your towing capacity and how much the boat weighs. I have a 2wd Trailblazer and my towing capacity is 3700 lbs, but I have the towing package.

Do you have a towing package? Besides the tow hitch the tow package also includes a transmission cooler, your transmission is the most susceptible to damage due to heat from towing . Your TB should not have a problem towing but keep an eye on your temp. and do not tow in overdrive.

Check your tow rating and your boat/trailer weight. Make sure you have good tread on your tires for those wet ramps. Nothing scarier than feeling/hearing your wheels spin when you're trying to pull your boat out of the water!

ya know, 2wd is actually better for towing than a 4wd. But, I would check your cars manual, is should have towing capacity, otherwise, check online at the car companies site, and it should say.
