The following:
Get some aerobic exercise daily (I mean, really get your heart pumping, not just a simple walk). Perhaps as a part of a sport you enjoy. But do not do this 3-4 hours before you go to bed.

After you start this, then start getting a regularly scheduled amount of good sleep each night (7-8 hours). The above exercise will help and improve your ability to sleep well.

Eat healthy.

Do things you enjoy; hobbies, etc.

Stop watching so much TV, instead try reading a good book.

Learn something new.

Cry out to God, as David did in the Psalms. Very frequently he cries out to God and speaks to himself, "Why are you downcast, O my soul..." See Psalms 42 and 43 and turn them into prayers.

In the end analysis, what is it in life that brings love, joy, and peace? See Galatians 5:22 in the Bible.
