I assume you mean Woodward - and its not a novel. A novel is something that's not true, made up. This book is very true. As usual, Woodward is right on the money with a well-researched indictment of the Bush administration and all that is wrong with his policies. I'm surprised the book isn't over 1000 pages long.

I think it must be a very powerful book, since it has convinced the administration to admit that their Iraq policy is not working and needs to be changed.

As with all things, admitting that you have a problem is the first step to solving it.

Unfortunately, I think this recent admission is just last-minute electioneering. Nothing will change.

Captain Bush: "Stay the course."
First Officer: "But sir, that's an iceburg ahead of us."
Captain Bush: "Stay the course."

What I find interesting, is how much the White House lauded his previous book, which basically showed bush to be a war time president. And on this book, they are hooting, hollering and disclaiming it. I guess they can't take the truth.

First of all it's "Woodard". Second of all it's not a Novel. So, I can just image, knowing how you ask questions and how much you know your subject matter, how you will be influenced by the typical liberal viewpoint of a Republican President.

Did you mean to call it a novel or was that a mistake? If you're calling it fiction then what part of it do contend is inaccurate?

Even if only 10% of the book is correct, it still paints a scary, depressing picture of this administration (and you know the percentage is significantly higher than that)
