could be fungus..could be body slime that's just sticking to it. I would give it a water change, check temperature and add sea salt . If you can stop by a petstore, get some anti fungal meds..they are pretty cheap. For me, salt works the best. Look up pics of fungus on google or something..

It is a fungus. Get a drop called fungi- cure, it should do the trick. If you don't treat it, it will kill the fish, and if you have other fish in the tank chances are they will develope this also, so you should treat the tank asap!

It could be ick.
check with your local pet store.
You will need to get some medicine and you will need to raise the temperature of the water for a short period of time.

it may be a growth from a previous injury, to make sure that it doesnt fungus, get some aquarium salt and treat your tank

your fish is sick go to the pet store and tell them that your fish has white bumps and they will sell you meds. make sure you read directions or you will kill then with overdose

i would take him to a PET STORE, not PET SUPPLY and ask for advice.They have diagnoised many of my fish ailments and have told me how to properly treat it. good luck
