This question really made me laugh.
Scotland has it's own laws, currency, education system, language and a culture singularly distinct from England and suffice it to say the USA. I have never heard any Scot wishing they had separate sovereignty.
They are nation who are proud of their identity and I can't see this changing any time soon.
You have to understand that England isn't like a boss to the 3 other countries that make up the British Isles. We co-exist, each with our own special and much celebrated culture.
If it were put to the vote in Scotland I would confidently predict the answer to be a resounding no.

Maybe the politicians should be asking how much they can get in taxes from the people of Scotland...then they will get a better answer.
