I am from europe and I want to study one year in USA so I am looking for scholarships? Any ideas?

Well, I know alot of the study programs offer scholarships themselves. For instance, I'm planning to study abroad through the CEA program. The CEA program offers partial scholarships to accepted participants.

Also, you might want to check at your university. If you have an office of international studies, they may offer partial scholarships for study abroad.

Also, I'm not sure if European schools work the same way American schools do, but if they use the financial aid system, you may want to talk to the financial aid office. Government provided financial aid such as certain types of loans and grants can be used to cover the cost of study abroad.

The government may have a program where they offer a scholarship in exchange for a service. For example, you want to come to the United States to study...physics...the government may agree to fund the trip if you agree to teach physics for two years.

Look into private organizations. In the states, we have a group called the rotary club which gives scholarships for study abroad, with a few strings attached, but they're doable.
