I only buy if I have the money to. Sometimes I spend more than I should, but I never go into debt. I'm not addicted.. I only go on when I need something. Usually if I search for stuff for the heck of it I end up wanting more than I can afford too, though. But it's not like a casino; it's not gambling... if you pay for something usually you get what you want out of it (unless the person isn't a trustworthy seller) ;]

First of all an addiction is something that affects your life and hampers prosperity and well being. Everyone usually has something that they do too much of that seems to be overdone. When you do something and it comes before your personal health, paying your bills, having time for your family, making you lose sleep, keep you from exercising, etc. are signs that you may have an addiction. I do know what you mean when you see things on Ebay at such a great deal and you can't find it anywhere else. It feels really good to get that package and open it and see that item. It causes a good feeling that goes away quickly. This is sort of an addictive symptom to buy things to feel good for a while. You must have a balance in life with the many aspects that compose your life. It is hard to have a balance of the components in life but you have to try. Too much of anything is often not good but sometimes one's addiction may not be viewed as an addiction when comparing it to some people's addictions that are truly damaging physically, mentally, socially, etc. I love buying on Ebay and blujay.com. Good deals and items found nowhere else.

It can be, though I would compare it to a shopping addiction more than a gambling one. I used to go to this one flea market every weekend and not leave till I was broke. Well sometimes I had enough for coffee after I left;)

I believe it can be....I shop from there occasionally, but my sister buys from there everyday and has done this since 1999..
She says she can't help herself...She buys all kinds of things that she doesn't need and turns around and resells things also..
I never looked at it as an addiction...but since you mentioned it, it makes sense!...

good to gander and save up for what interests you. Always say to yourself....Is that a need or just a want? Always can go without the want.
