Let me start by stating that this is a very delicate situation and that I am only looking for responses from knowledgable individuals.
My sister is dating this guy she met after work one day, he seems to be the holy roller type, but he's almost twice her age. He is now a taxidermist, but had previously been a cop in the state of Florida.
According to him, he has went through a number of jobs from the year 1990 onwords.
I am hearing from people who know him, albeit, not as friends, that he was in and out of psychiatric centers prior to meeting my sister. With all those facts presented, I am curious to know if there is a way for me to check his backround information? Preferrably free.
I don't want my sister to stay with a nut case and every time I see him I get the feeling that he is a shady kind of person. Any help would really be appreciated.

If you are concerned about your sister, do what needs to be done. Start with http://www.zabasearch.com that will give you a free start, but most sites will charge to do a full background check, but it's your sister and she's worth it, right?

Sorry, I can't give u a free site because from what I know, there is none. Try Intellus.com. I used it to track down a stalker ex boyfriend because he kept harrassing me but he had moved so I had to pay about 25 bucks to get an address for him so the police could issue a restraining order. Turns out they (Intellus) gave me more than I asked for. I know every person's name in his family, everyone he has ever lived with, every address he has ever used, they even mentioned a criminal record (but I had to pay extra for that too!) So that's all I can tell ya. Good luck

You should be able to go to the court house and search public records, this should be a good start.

If you want accurate info about anybody you will have to pay.....nothing is free these days buddy!....and you know what its worth it to pay 25-45 dollars for your sister's safety.

i think you should definetley get the background check. even it comes back clean i think you are probably right about thiis one. i defienetley say pay the money, or even go down to the local courthouse and ask about getting information through them they will gladly help.
