I am a married, mother of 3 and just started back at college. Its going to be a struggle and it can be very frustrating, but I still make time for my family. I started out with FAFSA and got a grant and a stafford loan. But as someone else stated, it my just be enough to cover your classes depending on how many you take. Mine paid for classes and books and I did get some in return, and it helped out with childcare. Good Luck

Honey where there is a will there is a way. You can do anything you want to do as long as you put your mind to it. You can try for a scholarship programs and Financial Aid. Listen my cousin has 4 kids and had a very abusive husband and her mother which is the anti-christ and she still managed to get her B.A. in liberal arts. Now she is currently divorced, has a great job, a new condo, and she lost 40lbs to boot(she used to weight 180lbs last year.) But it takes hard work, sweat, blood and tears = commitment. Good luck and God bless!!!!!!!

Go to your local college and get information on financial aid, depending on your income you may get not only enough to go to college but any extra funds beyond tuition are sent to you in a check. By applying for scholarships and recieving them you can reduce the amount taken out of your financial aid funds and recieve a larger check to help pay your bills

Go to the financial aid office of the college. I believe there are grants available to single parents, and the children of single parents. My daughter went to college and grants covered most everything.

If there is a specific school you are interested in, request a catalog of scholorships and apply to every one in the book that applies to you. I guarantee you will get at least one of them. i am a mom of 2 and in my freshman year of college. You also need to go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and they will most likely pay for almost all of your schooling. Also, go to your local dhhr and ask them about help to go to school. I know one girl that only had to pay 600 dollars for a whole year. You don't have to repay any of it until you are graduated either. Go to school! Your kids will thank you for it later on!
