If you are having them find things and take digital pictures to show you instead of bringing the things back (i think this is more fun)....They have to go out and find these things to take a picture of the real things, not find pictures of them....
-a black cat
-a scary looking house or building(a haunted house)
-a house decorated for halloween
-someone dressed up in costume( or if everyone is dressed up for the party put down specific costumes to take pic of like,...take picture of you standing with a witch or with a skeleton ect)
- a black car
- yourself holding a worm or icky bug
-picture of you or someone on your team "trick-or-treating at someones door" even if its not trick or treat time

sounds like fun i may have to do this for my kids next year! Have fun with it!!! Happy Halloween

a pi

Maybe some small bags with different candy - hersheys kisses, candy corn, gum, halloween-themed M&Ms, etc. And small courds and miniature pumpkins that are painted. Stuffed animals in halloween costumes (you may be able to find some at a local dollar store). For adults, if you have a high budget, some Halloween-themed DVDs or books, or halloween masks? And some random halloween decorations that you can pick up at any store.

For Halloween trivia questions: "What year was the first Halloween?" "Who invented Halloween?" or easier questions: "Name four symbols of halloween" "what is the name for a pumpkin who has been carved, fill in the blanks: _ _ _ _ 'o' _ _ _ _ _ _ _" "Name three things that would give you bad luck"

we had a scavenger hunt one year and we put road kill on our list. it was real sick but it was fun to see who had the guts to get it to win. also we had team member swap their shirts that was really fun cause you have different size people on a team. a pencil rubbing of a tomb stone with the date of 1900 on it. chicken feather. match book of matches.
