Can you still get full benefits from your job if you work 30hrs. a week?

I am looking for a new job and I would like to work 8am to 2pm (or 3) in order to pick my child up from school. Can I still get full benefits if I am only working 30 hrs. a week?

Each company has their own policy concerning benefits. Most do not recognize you as a full time employee unless you work 35-40 hours. Some offer full benefits to part time employees as well... Good Luck!

It depends on where you work and what they consider Full Time.... I had a call-center job that considered 30 hrs a week full time... some places consider FT 35 hrs per wk... others make you work 40. Ask someone that works where you are considering working.

Depends on where you work a lot of doctors offices and retail places consider 30 hours full time. Others you have to work 40.

I work 20 hours a week and have full benefits, but that's because I got lucky and have an awesome job. I think it depends on your employer.

No you cant you can only get full benfits if you are working under 16 hours a week. However if you start to work then you can claim working family tax credits ontop of your wages. However you need to take into consideration that you will need to pay rent and council tax, you may get help with these depending on how much you earn. Go to your nearest CAB center for more information.

I suppose that depends on the employer, but I think most would require full-time, which is 40 hours.

i am giving u this suggestion.
