Not seen the film, dont plan to either.
I work in mental health and was in a meeting inside a psychiatric hospital when the news broke. We went on to the ward to watch the TV pictures. Around me were seriously disturbed peolple and I remember thinking that the real "mad" people are outside, not in here.

I had just got home from school when a friend of the family phoned and told me to turn the tv on. This was after both towers had come down, and I just sat there in shock.
I have seen the film, and thought it was well shot, especially the beginning bits showing New York, made it look such a beautiful city... but I wasn't too sure about the film as a whole. The most moving bit for me was all the real-life tv footage that they included, and the bit just before the credits, when they put up the statistics, and the names of all those who died.

I just woke up when it happened, and when I saw it on TV, I couldn't believe it. I thought it was made up, but it wasn't.
As for the film, I haven't seen it. And I am not planning to. I only showed it since I am a cinema projectionist and it's my job to show films, but I don't like the idea of making a movie out of what happened only after 5 years. Besides it's only from American point of view. Additionally, we didn't manage to sell many tickets for it, so it seems like the general public was not too keen on it either.

I was running a floor buffer (still in college). The news broke into the music on my walkman. I went down the hall telling everyone. Now any of those people when asked will say "the guy buffing the floor told me."
I never want to be that guy again.
I haven't seen the movie.

I woke up around 10am and turned the TV on around 11. One of the towers were coming down. I left it on VH1 the night before. I thought there was a movie on.
I started flipping channels and the same picture was on every station.
Then I realized.
I haven't seen the movie either.

I was in town, buying gymshoes for my daughter who was starting nursery the next day. I remember people were crowded round a tv shop window watching the footage.
It is a moment no one will forget>

I was at work when I heard it, work for a financial company, and they pulled us into a meeting when the news broke. I froze. I couldn't move. When I watched it at home after they let us out, I had nightmares for weeks after seeing what we all saw. I refuse to see the movie due to nightmares.
