I cannot stop singing far away by nickelbck, its in my head at this very moment, and what sucks is that i dont know the lyrics so the same verse repeats itself. Dont you hate that? lol

You know, there are so many, but I think Back in Black by AC/DC is the quintessential rock song. It has all the elements you really need in a good rock song- driving guitar riffs, screechy-voiced lead singer, catchy sing-along-with-able hook, and a lot of bass so you can turn it up and go nuts. Plus, it must be able to span the generation gap, since they're using it in that Gap commercial with Audrey Hepburn.
