Is there some kind of goverment conspiracy going on ,where the goverment is making food companies put "fatty" ingredients in their food. I mean there so much sugar and starch in common food items that it makes you wonder.

I don't think that the goverment is but i know mainstream food companies and fast food companies put some chemicals in food that overconsumption of said foods will make you fat or physically sick. Foodcompanies do this so that you will be hungrier and buy more of their food.

If you look for the disease rates in this country I am sure they have skyrocketed over the past 5-20 years.
Basically you will notice a huge difference in food if you eat organic (foods without pesticides hormones ect), you'll get full faster, live longer, and you'll see that it tastes like things used to taste when you were a child

The government is definitely putting the starches and sugar in your food. I know because I work for the government in the department that does that. I'm not sure if I'm the one that does it for you, it depends on your geographical location. Every morning I start out from my office in Washington DC, and go to every home in SW DC, and I physically put sugar and starch into every food item that I can find in the house. I'm like Santa Claus and come down the chimney or through the door with my magic key, and no one ever sees me. Later, after ensuring the obesity of future generations, I conspire on other ways to enrich Bush through my ties with Halliburton, the Trilateral commission and the UN. At the end of the day I fly back to my underground bunker in my black helicopter.

Everyone else seems to disagree with you but I don't I noticed when i visited america last march the food was very different. It had more chemicals or unknown substances in it and so did the drinks...the only drink i could drink was orange juice because everything else was so loaded with unknown substances.

So I think you are right there is something going on there but I dont know if its the goverment hun. Maybe, maybe not? but i do agree something is going on. Look at "fast food nation" because trust me from what I saw of america it isnt exclusive to mc donalds foods. You may find it as interesting as i did. hope this helped you. ;)

Yes, absolutely and now that you've found out they're going to come for you.

Fat makes food taste better, that's why so much goes into processed food. Same with sugar. Don't eat it if you don't like it.

No, you consuming is making you fat. That's like asking is Playboy making me have a severe masturbation addiction?!?! The government doesn't make manufacturers put anything like that in their foods...its just what Americans want.

They just restricted Trans Fats in foods...but because so many companies complained they allow them to put low levels (like under .5g per serving) in without reporting it to the consumer! That stuff is horrible for you! Maybe you should blame the manufacturers or the eaters :)

No they are not, you are making yourself fat! If you do not like the sugar/starch start growing/making your own food, this way you can make sure it is healthy.

People blame the governement for everything else...why not that. Everyone is looking for a scapegoat these days.

Yes. Whether it's good for you or bad for you, it's always the Government's fault. We should never take personal responsibility for anything.
