The illustrations are prints, i.e., engravings, etchings, lithographs, that were made post 1922. I owned some, some were photographed from books, others from old newspapers in the U.S. and Europe. There are about 100 items. Some are by well-known artists, others by minor, but interesting people, some are anonymous. How do I find out if they are in the public domain or can be referred to as "fair use"? How can I supply the publisher with the necessary copyright material?
