My favorite memory was when I went to Disneyland for the first time. I was five years old, I remember it rained all day long and I went on It's a Small World about a hundred times! Even today I love that ride and the rain! I think this memory has something to do with that. I also remember being scared of the Indiana Jones ride, which had lots of snakes. Now I am terrified of snakes! The only other thing I can remember is wearing my Minnie Mouse backpack and hugging Minnie Mouse. I was her #1 fan! This has been my favorite memory for a while and it still warms my heart to think about it.

My favorite were the old 4K x 1-bit DRAM's in the Apple II+ computer...
Oh, you meant HUMAN memories, not COMPUTER memories?
In that case it is the trip my dad and I took in his little private plane when I was about 14, we flew up to an abandoned old emergency airstrip way back in the mountains (had to "buzz" the cows off the runway and everything), landed, and spent a week alone in the wilderness just talking and fishing and backpacking and enjoying having not a care in the world, and just learning from my dad's accumulated wisdom.
That or any of the several field trips I took with my mother at about the same time. She was a practicing field archeaologist at the time, so each summer we would load up a month's supplies into her little Datsun pickup and head out into the great empty unknown, where we would camp and spend the days exploring and excavating all these old villages and hunting camps from the earliest inhabbitants of America, in order to study and learn about how they lived, what they ate, who they were trading with, and so on.

My favorite memory has to be the Christmas when I got my Cocker Spaniel puppy Lacy. My parents had her hidden out in the garage (we lived in Texas so of course it was still warm so don't worry on that part). We went through all the presents so of course I was disappointed that I didn't get the puppy I had been begging them all year for. (this was the year that Lady and the Tramp had originally come out) well my mom distracted me with breakfast and wanted me to help her but I was still somewhat disappointed but I had noticed my dad and sister had gone off somewhere and when they got back they yelled surprise and there was my new dog, Lacy, with a big red bow on her back and just as cute as could be. =) She isn't with us any longer (died of cancer when she was 16 years old) but everyone agrees that she was the best dog in the world. *getting a bit misty eyed* But that was my favorite memory and will stick with me forever. =)

Any thing that has to do with my brother and I. He's n the army he's been there since 2001 since then I've seen him about 5 times. He's my bestfriend. I look up to him. He went to Iraq last November. He's suppose to go back home to where he lives in Colorado by the end of this month but I won't get to see him till Decemeber the hardest thing I ever had to do in life was to say goodbye to him that year when he left. He missed my highschool graduation and other events.

Sitting on a hill covered in wild flowers on a hot summer day, bees buzzing among the flowers, a view of the village spread out below, the river in the distance, my grandparents' cottage in the foreground.
Childhood in my birthplace, Little Eaton, Derbyshire.
