Is it worth me purchasing one ?

well it's not much better than the DS so if i were you i would get a DS not a DS lite cos the DS is about £40 cheaper in Game(when preowned). but they are a great little gadget so you should get one of the two.

It is worth it if you like any of the games available for it, and if you are going to actually play games on it!
There are differences between the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo DS Lite, for starters the screens have been improved and there are 4 levels of brightness that you can set, all of the 4 settings are brighter than the screen on the Nintendo DS (which makes it easier to see see the screens under certain light conditions). The Nintendo DS Lite also has a larger stylus that is easier to hold, and it is lighter in weight and more compact than the Nintendo DS.

I love my nintendo ds lite. Don't get a regular, though, because only the lite version has a lot brighter screents, and it is very worth purchasing.

Ds lite rule Super sweet and sleek plus brighter screen and touch screen Ds lite is a lot better than the DS.Trust me!!!!!

No. There's no real difference between the DS Lite and the DS itself. Just smaller, possibly more breakable.

wen i first herd it i thot there was not much diff but wen i got 1 theres a hell of a difference screen quality is way better like 2x
sound is better and its looks so much cooler
... so ye its worth payin extra for it than just a norm ds

My friend Becky has one and I think they are a lot of fun:) If you liked the previous versions of Nintendo games systems, go ahead and get it.

Yes, it is some much better. 1st it is sexier.2nd the screen colors are more vibrant and brighter. It is also lighter and feels better in your hands.
