Berserk - Guts
Bleach - Abarai Renji, Kuchiki Byakuya, Kurosaki Ichigo, Sado Yasutora, Ishida Uryuu, Urahara Kisuke, Zaraki Kenpachi...etc. (there are so many really great fighters in Bleach...)
Naruto - Hatake Kakashi, Maito Gai, The Hokage (there are five of them, 4 are dead), Jiraiya, Orochimaru..etc. (also a bunch of remarkable fighters in this one...)

The gr8est fighters in anime world are goku and vegeta they could beat the crap out of everyone,yeah!And about trunks,future trunks is cool and hot and deadly strong but the one in gt is a p***sy

there are a llot of great fighters in the DBZ series, like Vegeta, goku, trunks. also vash from trigun, or alphonze elrich from Fullmetal ALchmist. don't forget characters from Naruto like Orochimaru, Itachi, Sasuke, and Naruto himself. Let's face it, most of anime is about fighting

Robotech - Max Sterling and Miriya are ace pilots
Vampire Hunter D - skilled hunter of the supernatural
Ninja Scroll - Jubei is a deadly ninja warrior
Ghost in the Shell - the Major is an excellent spec ops agent
The Professional - the main character is a deadly assassin

i don't consider this show like most animes but its .hack//sign. That is one of my favorite shows. It was on tv a long time ago, but not nemore.
