But after about 30 minutes the faint line became very noticeble. I know that whatever a test shows after about 20 minutes is not accurate but do you think I am? I honestly really don't feel any different except my boobies hurt a little but I usually get that b4 my period it's due tomorrow, I'm going crazy here I will test again tomorrow morning.

2 lines is positive no matter how faint!
I know exactly how you feel though. I did this last week!
I retested the very next day with a different test, the one with "plus sign means pregnant" and "minus sign means not pregnant." It also has the "you did the test right" line in a separate window altogether so that made reading it VERY easy and foolproof (for me anyway.)

Although they say 2 lines, no matter how faint is a postive result there is room for some doubt if you don't retest and confirm it in your own mind. Good luck!

How late is your period or how soon are you expecting it? Both times that iv'e been pregnant, thats what happened to me. The first time I ended up miscarrying not long after which didn't have anything to do with the faintness of the positive. The second time I tested before my period was expected by a few days and i'm now about to deliver twins anyday. I was a fertility patient and my doctor always told me that the rule of thumb so to say is you won't get a false positive. There is a very rare genetic condition that can cause you to get false positives but its VERY rare. You should probably go to a dr. and get a blood test done, then they can tell you for sure and even tell you the level of HCG in your body. Hope it helps.

Try a new test, but wait no more than 5 minues for results. Any line is a positive no matter how faint. However after 10 minutes it can give a false positive because there is an evaporation line. If you are pregant the further along you are the line will get darker because more HcG will be in your urine.

I think you probably are pregnant. Buy another test, a different brand. First response is usually good and the line shows up well with only a small amount of hormone in your urine. The same thing happened with me and my first test so I immediatly went to the drug store and bought another brand that was supposed to detect the hormone sooner. That time the line showed up better and sure enough 81/2 months later I was holding my beautiful baby boy.

If you get another test and it turns out negative, you may want to wait for your period, but if it doesn't come in a week, take another test or find out from your doctor.

Good Luck!!

I've heard and even read on the pregnancy tests that any visible line (no matter how light) can be counted as a positive result. I've taken pregnancy tests and the lines were very light both times I was pregnant. I would go to the doctor and have them test me to be absolutely sure so you can get started with prenatal care.

Yeah, Theres a good chance you could be pregnant. Test again to be sure then go to the docs and get a "real" test. That same thing happened to me the line was very faint and I did it again and then I went to the docs. They told me I was 5 weeks pregnant! Good luck!

after ten minutes you throw the test away. doesn't matter how faint the line is. normally the second line (if there will be one at all) will come in just as fast as the first line. after ten minutes the results are no longer accurate. don't drive yourself crazy.

The same thing happened when my bff took a pregnancy test so she went ahead and took another one just to be sure and yes she was pregnant. So take another one and just to be sure get a test by your doctor.

I would say so. Wait a week and test again. One day wont make the difference you need.

Or you can go insist on blood work from your doctor.

If you can see the line at all then it is more than likely positive. It has been that way with all my pregnancies.

Wait a couple of days and take another one.
