It should just be 25+25+75+75 as long as the fence will go around the entire backyard and there is nothing in the way.

since they gave you two sides this implies the polygon is a quadrilateral, so you would need to find the perimeter which is 2*25+2*75 or 200 ft

If the yard is a rectangle, p=2l+2w=2*75+2*25=150+50=200'
If it is any other shape, we need more onfo.

x+2y= -8 2x-y= 4 from the 1st equation, x = -8 - 2y plug that into the 2d equation. 2x-y= 4 2(-8 - 2y) - y = 4 -sixteen - 4y - y = 4 -5y = 20 y = -4 plug that decrease back into an equation to discover x. 2x - y = 4 2x - (-4) = 4 2x + 4 = 4 2x = 0 x = 0 So, the given ordered pair (4, -2) isn't a answer to the device. the answer to the device is (0, -4).

If it's a rectangle you need to go all the way around. Draw a little sketch, label the sides, and 'walk it' with your pencil.

If you multiplied the width and length you'd get the area.
